Urban and Regional Planning M.A. Students during field work in Wote Municipality, February 2022 Data Collection Work Plan in Makueni County from 9th-13th February 2022

Department of Urban and Regional Planning M.A. Year 2 2021/2022 Students Conducted an Urban Planning Studio in Wote municipality of  Makueni County from 9th-13th February 2022. The team carried out primary data collection and site analysis.

The team met key informants from national and county government departments. The studio explores existing human settlements and infrastructure challenges facing the municipality. Additionally, they examined the existing land use practice and patterns to determine future and current needs.
