Department of Urban and Regional Planning M.A. Year 2 2021/2022 Students will Conduct a Regional Planning Studio as the study area in Kirinyaga East Sub-County. The County wards are:-
- Kabare, Baragwi, Njukiini, Ngariama, Karumandi.
They will carry out primary data collection and site analysis.The team will meet with local community and key informants from national and county government departments.
The studio explores existing human settlements and infrastructure challenges facing the County. Additionally, they will examine the existing land use practice and patterns to determine future and current needs.
