External Examiner, Prof. Jonas Tumsifu participated in the Regional Planning Studio presentation  and examination by post graduate students. The 2023 Regional Planning studio was conducted in Kirinyaga East Sub-County, Kirinyaga County

The field study involved five (5) wards, namely, Kabare, Baragwi, Karumandi, Njuki-ini and Ngariama 

The plan has proposed measures to support sustainable growth and address socio-economic challenges to improve the quality of living standards for the residents.
